Centirfugal Firepump Replacement

APS executed the replacement of a vertical inline fire pump manufactured by Patterson at Stanford Hospital. The scope included full labor, materials, equipment, permitting, and supervision. The project involved installation of a new fire pump, pump motor, jockey pump, controller, and automatic transfer switch (ATS), all tested to meet manufacturer and industry standards. APS coordinated with A/E teams to follow structural and anchorage specifications and developed detailed MOPs for fire alarm, electrical, and emergency systems including the hospital’s generator. A temporary fire protection system was deployed to maintain safety during installation. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget, ensuring full compliance and operational readiness.
