AV and IT System Upgrade

UCSF – Mission Bay Campus
Rutter Center

APS provided construction support for UCSF’s Fisher Hall AV and IT system upgrade project at the Rutter Community Centre. The project involved tenant improvements within a multi-purpose assembly space, including structural modifications to support new audio-visual equipment, ceiling-mounted projection systems, and associated low-voltage electrical services. Work required integration of structural anchorage, data raceways, and power provisions for university-supplied AV equipment, all while preserving the existing use, occupancy classification, and fire/life safety features of the building.

All construction was completed in strict compliance with the 2022 California Building, Electrical, and Green Building Codes. The project adhered to stringent infection control, dust containment, and accessibility standards as mandated by the UCSF Designated Campus Fire Marshal and Building Official. APS coordinated closely with stakeholders to meet CALGreen construction waste management requirements and ensured timely installation within an active healthcare campus setting
