Boiler Replacement

APS was contracted by Stanford Health Care to execute a full boiler replacement at the 31780 Hayman Street facility in Hayward, CA. The project consisted of demolition and removal of the existing boiler system and installation of a new high-efficiency boiler to improve heating reliability, safety, and energy performance.

Work included mechanical demolition, equipment rigging and placement, installation of new boiler units, venting and flue modifications, gas line connections, electrical integration, controls coordination, insulation, system startup, and testing and balancing support. APS coordinated closely with facility engineers and stakeholders to plan shutdowns and minimize operational disruptions.

All work was performed in compliance with local mechanical codes, safety regulations, and SHC facility standards. APS implemented detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) planning, lockout/tagout protocols, and site safety controls to ensure safe execution. The upgraded system enhanced reliability, operational efficiency, and long-term maintainability of the facility’s heating infrastructure.
