Chiller Coil Replacement

Stanford HealthCare
5800 Hollis

APS was selected to perform a comprehensive HVAC coil replacement at Stanford Health Care’s 5800 Hollis Street facility in Emeryville, CA. The project involved removal and replacement of existing air handler unit (AHU) coils to restore system efficiency, improve climate control performance, and ensure operational reliability within an active healthcare administrative environment.

Scope of work included detailed preconstruction coordination, equipment isolation and shutdown planning, safe removal of existing coils, fabrication verification, installation of new high-performance coils, reconnection of chilled and hot water piping systems, pressure testing, system flushing, insulation restoration, and full commissioning support. APS executed all work in phased sequences to maintain uninterrupted facility operations and indoor air quality standards.

Strict infection control measures, site protection protocols, and coordination with SHC Facilities were implemented throughout construction. APS ensured compliance with applicable mechanical codes, manufacturer specifications, and Stanford Health Care operational requirements. The project was completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with facility performance expectations.
