Locker Room Tennant Improvement

UCSF
Pediatric Intensive Care Nursery (ICN)

American Project Solutions (APS) completed the renovation of the ICU/Neonatal Cardiovascular Center (ICN) locker room at UCSF Mission Bay, delivering the project within an active healthcare environment while maintaining strict operational and safety standards.

The project involved full demolition of existing locker systems, followed by wall restoration and repainting across approximately 324 square feet. APS prepared and installed a new healthcare-grade rubber flooring system, including substrate leveling, integral cove base, and heat-welded seams to meet durability and hygiene requirements.

A key component of the project was the implementation of ICRA Level 4 infection control measures, including full dust containment, negative air pressure, HEPA filtration, sealed work zones, and controlled material transport. All work was carefully phased to minimize disruption to patient care and hospital operations.

APS managed the project end-to-end, including supervision, coordination, and inspections, ensuring full compliance with UCSF standards and successful delivery in a live clinical setting.
