APS was selected by Stanford Health Care to deliver a comprehensive upgrade of monument signage at 801, 900, and 1000 Welch Road in Palo Alto, as part of Stanford Medicine’s strategic campus-wide wayfinding enhancement initiative. The project scope across all three sites included removal of existing monument signage and foundations, trenching and installation of new conduit systems, construction of new structurally reinforced concrete foundations, fabrication and mounting of architecturally consistent monument signs, and integration of high-performance LED uplighting.
APS conducted detailed preconstruction utility surveys, coordinated with utility providers and campus stakeholders, and implemented strict site safety and access controls to ensure uninterrupted campus operations. Power for the new lighting systems was sourced from parking lot utility vaults under full Method of Procedure (MOP) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols in compliance with Stanford’s safety requirements.
APS collaborated closely with Stanford Facilities, EMCOR, and Grounds teams to ensure consistent design alignment, high-quality finishes, and seamless project execution across all three locations. The projects were delivered on time and within budget, demonstrating APS’s capability in managing multi-site, high-visibility construction efforts in active healthcare environments.
