Office Tennant Improvement

UCSF
Health Science East

APS performed an interior renovation for the 9th floor break room and administrative office space at the UCSF Health Science East Building. The 2,530 SF project scope included demolition and replacement of millwork, finishes, casework, plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, and lighting. No structural, mechanical, or fire/life safety changes were made, maintaining the building’s original use and egress conditions.

Work included installation of new kitchen counters, cabinets, and appliances, along with upgrades to lighting and electrical outlets to meet modern performance and safety requirements. APS implemented dust containment and nightly cleanup practices, in accordance with UCSF’s stringent infection control and campus safety protocols. The project complied with all 2022 California Building Codes, ADA standards, and CALGreen mandates. Coordination with UCSF’s Designated Campus Fire Marshal and Building Official ensured compliance and timely approvals. APS delivered this tenant improvement efficiently with minimal disruption to adjacent active spaces.
