Acoustic and AV/IT Upgrade

UCSF
Aldea Center Mount Sutero

American Project Solutions (APS) delivered a comprehensive AV/IT upgrade at the Aldea Community Center in San Francisco, modernizing technology across key shared spaces including the community room, foyer, and telecom areas. The project involved the removal and replacement of existing AV equipment, upgrades to wireless access points, and integration of new audio-visual systems to improve functionality and user experience.

Work was executed based on a coordinated permit set that included architectural, electrical, and structural drawings, ensuring seamless integration with the existing facility. Scope also included new cabling infrastructure, reflected ceiling modifications, and system coordination with telecom rooms to support reliable data and AV distribution.

All installations were completed in compliance with the California Building Standards Code (Title 24), incorporating proper seismic anchorage, firestopping, and code-compliant electrical detailing.

The result is a modernized, scalable AV/IT environment that enhances communication, collaboration, and long-term usability within an active UCSF facility.
